We work in phases.
We lead with generosity. Each step earns the next, and you're never locked into more than the problem in front of us.
Discovery
We start by sitting down with your leadership team, county administrator, or executive director to map where the pain is and how things work today, and we put what we find in writing. Our goal in this phase is simple: prove we're worth working with by being useful, not by pitching.
Deep dive
From everything discovery surfaces, we pick the single highest-value opportunity and go deep, this time alongside the people who actually do the work. The result is a tightly scoped picture of one problem worth solving, and a concrete proposal for solving it.
Build
The core engagement. Depending on the problem, that means low-code automation that connects the tools you already own, or a greenfield data stack: warehouse, pipelines, and dashboards your leadership can trust. We do the strategy and the implementation; you're never handed a deck and left to figure it out alone.
Ongoing support, when it makes sense
Some engagements wrap with a long-term service agreement that keeps systems healthy and keeps improving them. Others do not need one, and we will say so. It depends on the work, and on whether you have someone internally who can carry it.
Where an agreement does make sense, it is usually because there is no internal team to hand the system to, and a system with nobody responsible for it degrades quietly until the day it is needed and doesn't work. That is what we cover: the changes, the state's new reporting requirement, the staff turnover, the platform update that breaks an integration.
An honest promise: we're a stage, not a destination
What we build lives in the gap between spreadsheets and enterprise platforms: a five to ten year fit for your organization as it is now. If you grow to the point where you'll outgrow what we built, we'll say so plainly. That's by design. The right system for the next decade beats an oversized one for a future that hasn't arrived.
What we build with
Analytics, automation, and AI are the toolkit underneath all of it: trusted reporting, processes that run without a person in the middle, and AI in the narrow places it genuinely earns its keep. Which one we reach for matters far less than whether the thing we hand you gets used. See the six things we actually build →
What you walk away with
Trusted numbers, seen now
Performance visible today, not reconstructed at month-end.
One shared reality
An end to dueling spreadsheets. Everyone working from the same numbers.
Your operation, documented
A deep written record of how work actually happens, surfacing the workarounds and tribal knowledge that hold organizations back.
Leverage
More output and more consistency from the team you already have, without adding headcount you cannot get approved anyway.
